For people on Medicare or getting close

Turning 65 shouldn't feel like a pop quiz you didn't study for.

Original Medicare, a Supplement, or an Advantage plan... the choices matter and the deadlines are real. We explain how each piece works in plain English and help you pick what fits your doctors, your meds, and your budget.

Turning 65 shouldn't feel like a pop quiz you didn't study for.
10 plans, 1 price problem

Medicare Supplement coverage comes in standardized letters. A Plan G from one company pays the exact same federal benefits as a Plan G from another. The price, though, can swing by hundreds of dollars a year. Same coverage. Different company. You decide who gets the extra money.

Medicare is simpler than it looks, once someone actually explains it.

Get the timing right

Miss your enrollment window and you can get hit with a penalty that follows you for life. We walk you through the dates that apply to your situation so a deadline never costs you.

Supplement or Advantage?

One trades a monthly premium for fewer surprises. The other costs less up front but works through a network and copays. Neither is the right answer for everybody. We lay out how each one actually behaves so you can choose with your eyes open.

Keep your doctors

Tell us who you see and we check whether your plan plays nice with them. No finding out at the front desk that your cardiologist is out of network.

Don't overpay for your Rx

Drug plans price the same medication differently, and the cheap-looking premium can hide an expensive formulary. We look at what you actually take before anyone signs anything.

What stands out most is Forge's professionalism and responsiveness. My broker always takes the time to explain details in clear, digestible pieces, which has made the whole thing so much less overwhelming.

They took the time to listen and help us explore what would work best. Within two months we'd saved enough to cover a month's premium. I highly recommend an honest look at your healthcare.

I spent twelve weeks in the ICU. The bills were about two million dollars. Without Clearwater I would have been bankrupt. Because of them, I survived that.

What working with us actually looks like

We answer the phone

Crazy, we know. We cap how many clients each broker carries on purpose, so when you call about a bill or a benefit, a real person picks up. With over 40 years of benefits experience behind you.

Help year-round, not just in fall

Questions don't wait for open enrollment, so neither do we. We're available January through December to look at options and answer what comes up.

We explain, we don't push

Our job is to make sure you understand Original Medicare, Supplements, Advantage, and drug plans well enough to choose. Then you choose. We're not here to talk you into anything.

Support that sticks around

Once you're enrolled we don't disappear. You get a support team plus your own broker for the questions that come up after the paperwork is done.

Medicare doesn't have to be confusing.

Let's talk through where you are and what your options actually are. No jargon, no pressure, and we'll tell you straight if your current setup is already a good one.

Questions

Straight answers, before you ask.

A Supplement (also called Medigap) works alongside Original Medicare and helps cover the gaps it leaves, usually for a monthly premium and very few surprises at the doctor. Medicare Advantage replaces Original Medicare with a private plan that often costs less up front but runs on a network with copays. Both are real insurance. We explain how each one behaves so you can pick the one that fits how you use care.

There's a window around when you turn 65, and there are special situations if you're still working or covered elsewhere. Miss the window without a good reason and you can owe a penalty that lasts as long as you have the coverage. We map out the dates that apply to your situation so nothing slips past you.

Often, no. It depends on the type of plan. With a Supplement you can generally see any provider that takes Medicare. With Advantage it comes down to the network. Tell us who you want to keep and we check before you commit.

That's a separate piece, and it matters more than most people expect. Two drug plans can price the same medication completely differently. We go through your actual prescriptions before recommending anything, so the plan that looks cheap doesn't turn expensive at the pharmacy.

No. We get paid by the carriers, and that pay is the same no matter which plan you choose, so there's no reason for us to steer you anywhere but the right fit. We'll even tell you if the plan you already have is the one to keep.
