Forge Benefits is the operating brand of Forge Financial Services Inc., a health insurance brokerage serving business owners and independent contractors across the United States. When this page says "we" or "Forge," it means Forge Financial Services Inc.
We only collect information you choose to give us, plus standard website analytics. Specifically:
To do the thing you asked for: send the newsletter, process your broker election, prepare for a scheduled call, credit the right referral partner, and improve the site. That's the list.
Like most businesses, we run on a small set of software providers that process data on our behalf: an email platform (newsletter and client email), an automation platform and database (routing and storing form submissions), a CRM (tracking client work), and Google (analytics). Each one receives only what it needs to do its job. When you schedule a call or take our coverage questionnaire, you move to our scheduling and questionnaire tools, which operate under this same policy.
We use cookies for analytics (see above) and to remember small preferences, like whether you have already answered the "which one are you" question on the homepage. You can block cookies in your browser; the site keeps working.
We keep client records as long as we serve you, plus what insurance regulations require us to retain. Data moves over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to our systems is restricted to the people who need it to serve you.
This site is for adults making benefits decisions. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Management OS is our internal back-office system. It runs at os.thebenefitsforge.com and as an iPhone and Android app of the same name. It is not a consumer product. There is no public signup, and every account is created by us for a Forge employee, contracted broker, or enrollment staff member. If you are a Forge client, you do not have an account and nothing you do involves this app directly. This section is here because the app stores are entitled to a privacy policy that describes the app, and because you are entitled to know where your records live.
The people who sign in are our staff. The records they work with are our clients'. Both matter, so both are described below.
Access requires a sign-in against our own staff directory, and the app refuses everyone by default until an account is deliberately granted. What a given staff member can open is limited by the post they hold, so not every account can see every screen or every file. Data moves over encrypted connections, and health screens are marked so they are not written to the phone's disk cache.
Support and account questions for the app: thebenefitsforge.com/app-support. To ask what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, email info@thebenefitsforge.com. Deletion is subject to the records insurance regulations require us to keep, and we will tell you plainly when that applies.

Some options we discuss are health share programs. A health share is not insurance. Where a health share is presented, we say so plainly, and official program guidelines govern.
When we change this policy, we update it here and change the date at the top. Material changes to how we handle your data will be called out plainly, not buried.
